Distressed Birthday Card

I love my Martha Stewart scoring board. I scored the back of the card I think every 3/4". Stamped the damask boarder between the scores. Then stamped the other image three different times in three colors on a 2" square. I distressed the edges on both the card and square. All of the ink is distressed ink, the orange is the new wild honey and the blue is the new tumbled glass. Green is the old shabby shutters!

Birthday Card

Using some of my new hero arts stamps that I got for my birthday. I made this card in both a boy and girl version. I thought these pattern papers would work well for the boy theme. I actually made the card out of left over scraps.

Papertrey Feb Blog Hop!

This card was inspired by Betsy, I love her cards. They have such a vintage/shabby chic look. I have tried several times to make cards like hers and they just do not seem to work. I can never get the same results with the mixed pattern paper and embellishments. I guess just not my style. So I just enjoy looking at hers! Here is my take on her card located HERE
it is the card with the butterfly and leaf.

St. Paddy's Day Card

My first attempt on my st. paddy's day cards. Stamped the clovers, flourish and dots with distressed ink. Then put glimmer mist over the stamped images. Like the distressed looked that the glimmer mist added.

Birthday Card :)

A birthday card that is not a standard shape. Like the funky paper with the not regular shape card.

Everything but the Kitchen Sink Card-

Based this card on the current sketch at the ETBTKS challenge. Not sure why the center acrylic item is so fuzzy?? Tried to take different pics and same results. The background black and white images are actually stamps, not pattern paper. TFL!

Another Wedding Card!

Another wedding card that I made for the caarvarks challenge this week. TFL

Wedding Card

Here is a clean, simple and basic wedding card. I stamped with my wood grain stamp (hero arts) on white card stock with antique linen ink (ranger/tim holtz). Then stamped the flower image (stampin up) on white card stock with the same ink. Cut out around the stamped image and stamped the sentiment with black ink. Used a circle template and pierced the wood grain image. Added pearls (michaels) and fuzzy white tread.

HI card!

Virginia is having a little contest over at her blog for beating the winter blahs! I combined color pencils with white gel pen. While it is not a new technique, I still love the look. After coming back from Disney, I wanted to use lots of different colors of pencils. Since Disney is FULL OF COLOR! All stamps are from basic grey. Letters from Hobby Lobby! TFL
