I made this set of cards for my friend who just moved. She has a business for grooming dogs out of her house. I thought it would be a nice gift for her and her new place for her business.

Doddle Factory Baby Card

A baby card with some of new favorite stamps from Starving Artist Rubber Stamps! I love these little animals! I colored them and then added crystal lacquer for added dimension.

Basic Grey Blog Challenge Sketch

I made this card for the basic grey blog challenge. Bottom picture is the sketch and on the top is my take on the sketch. All pattern paper basic grey and all stamps basic grey except for the sentiment which is IO. Ribbon is also basic grey.

Just having fun with some new stamps!

More of my new stamps! I have gone to this convention for many years now. This year it was more exciting since in MI so many of our small stamp relator's have closed. The couple that are still around I try to frequently shop, but they have a hard time carrying a good variety of different stamp brands. Joanns and Michaels are good for the basic, but hard to find so great creative new stamps. Here is one of many favorites that I bought. I like it because it is good for a guy birthday or retirement cards, but also is a great design. It is designed by Leigh Hannan for impressions obsessions. Her stamps are great! I colored it in with colored pencil (no I have not gotten the copic bug yet). Sentiment from papertrey ink!

I went to the rubber stamp convention in Novi, MI over the weekend. I love this little chick in the plane. He is actually cover with sparkles (can not tell in photo). Little chick is made by denamidesigns, birthday sentiment impressions obsessions and background stamps by starving artist (doddle factory).

Birthday Card

This card was actually inspired by a card on Dawn McVey's blog. She stamped polka dots and then text over the dots to create a background. So this is my take on creating a similar background. Pattern paper by cosmo cricket. I distresses the edges. Sentiment by papertrey ink. Circle stamp in the background is papertrey ink and text is stamp camp.

Hero Art's Flickr group blog hop

The background card I actually put through my sizzix textured plate, it is kind of hard to see in this photo. The flower is still one of my all time favorite hero arts stamp (poetic petals one). I stamped on fabric with staz on. Then I wrapped the fabric over a button cover to give it dimension. Thank you sentiment from hero arts everyday sayings. I used friskars apron lace border punch and the small double dot from ek success. Added little black pearls between the background diamonds.

Some of my first stamps are from hero arts. It has always been such a great company and makes so many great stamps of different styles! Thanks a ton for looking!
